Hello all my name is Joshua Wayne Hickman, I am a 25 year old kinesiology major studying to be a sucessful teacher and coach for a future career and lifestyle! I played college football and basketball for Trinity Valley Community College, then after a year transfered to East Texas Baptist University and finished out my playing career. In the fall of 2009 my deminished elgibility brought me closer to home and now am exited to finish up my academic career as a A&M Commerce Lion !!
Technology , in my opinion, is about to take over the academic world! Not only will technology bring a speedy new way to enhance and increase learning skills , but it will give students and teachers a hands on experience that will prepare them for a technology driven society and push them a step ahead into a future that is on its way to being overwhelmed by electronic devices and tools that will run our world with a push of a button!
I want to soak up as much knowledge that i can. I want to be able to overlaod myself with all the information that has to do with educating the new generation of children with the technology thats is essential in adapting to the world around them.To give them the best possible teaching methods so they may set themselves up for a very positive sucessful future! With the advanced technology that is being released from our government , not all our students will be able to understand it and catch on right way like some will. This is where this class can hopefully maximize my full potential and therefore i can transfer what ive learned for my students and send them on thier way feeling prepared and positive! These students will then come out of my class realizing that through this new revoloution of educational technnology they are only a click away from all their learning desires!!
